Do you assist with potty training?
Absolutely – we are happy to partner with families on potty training! When your child shows signs of readiness for toilet learning, we’ll work closely with you to make the process as smooth and positive as possible. Readiness signs might include things like: staying dry for longer periods, alerting us when they’ve gone in their diaper, interest in the bathroom routine, and the ability to pull their pants up and down. Once you and your child are ready to begin, our teachers will follow a consistent routine at school that complements what you’re doing at home.
We use encouragement, patience, and lots of praise for each attempt and success on the potty. We’ll take children for regular potty breaks, help them practice proper handwashing, and even make it fun with stickers or high-fives. Throughout the process, we maintain open communication with you – sharing how your child is doing each day and aligning on strategies (for example, whether to use pull-ups or training underwear). By teaming up, we can create a consistent approach between home and school, which really helps children learn this new skill. Every child hits this milestone in their own time, and we’re here to support your family every step of the way.
