Do you use a parent communication app?

Yes, we do. We use the Brightwheel app as our parent communication platform. Brightwheel is a secure, easy-to-use mobile app (also accessible via web) that centralizes all our day-to-day communications with you. Through Brightwheel, you will:

  • Receive real-time updates on your child (as described above: messages, daily reports, photos, videos).

  • Check your child in/out with a QR code or pin at the center (it’s part of our digital sign-in system).

  • Message the school or teacher directly if you have a question or note.

  • Receive announcements or reminders from the center (for example, a reminder about Picture Day or a note that we’ll be closed on a holiday).

  • Manage billing and payments (Brightwheel also has a billing feature, so you can pay tuition through the app if you’d like – see the Billing section for more info).

We chose Brightwheel because it’s very parent-friendly and keeps everything in one place for you. Many of our families love that they can simply open the app on their phone and instantly know how their child is doing. It’s like getting a mini scrapbook and report each day! When you enroll, we’ll help you set up your Brightwheel account and show you how to use it. If you ever have any trouble with the app, we can assist – or Brightwheel’s support team is great too. Using a communication app is one of the ways we stay transparent and connected with our Playto families.
