What are the drop-off and pick-up procedures?

Our drop-off and pick-up routines are designed to keep everyone safe and make transitions smooth for you and your child. In the morning at drop-off, you will enter through our secure main entrance using your family’s unique access code (if you don’t have your code or a visitor is with you, an administrator will buzz you in after verifying your identity). Once inside, you’ll sign your child in at our digital check-in kiosk. Then you can walk your little one to their classroom, where their teachers will be ready with a warm welcome. This check-in process ensures we know exactly when your child has arrived and who brought them.

At pick-up time, safety remains a priority. You’ll come to the front entrance again (using your code or being let in by staff) and then sign your child out at the kiosk. If someone other than a known parent or guardian is picking up, we have clear procedures to verify they are authorized: we require you to list approved pickup people on your enrollment forms, and we will ask for a photo ID from anyone we don’t recognize. For example, if Grandma is picking up for the first time, we’ll check her ID and confirm she’s on your family’s approved list before releasing your child to her. We can even make a copy of the ID for our records. These steps might take a minute or two, but they ensure that each child is only ever released to the right, authorized person. We appreciate your patience with these protocols – they help keep your child secure at all times.
