What kinds of photos, videos, or notes do you send?
We try to give you a well-rounded window into your child’s day through the content we send on our app. The photos and videos will often show your child engaging in activities or interactions. For example, you might see a photo of your toddler proudly stacking blocks or painting with friends, a video clip of your infant enjoying tummy time or giggling at a bubble, or a snapshot of your preschooler listening intently during story time. We strive to capture those sweet, candid moments – big smiles, messy art creations, group play, or even a look of concentration while they try something new. Over time, you’ll likely accumulate a precious gallery of your child learning and having fun at Playto.
In addition to visuals, we send written notes/updates that cover the essential caregiving information: what your child ate and how much, nap start and end times, diaper changes or bathroom trips (including details like if it was wet or BM, so you know their routine), and any reminders or observations. We might write a short note about something new your child did (“Jason tried the slide all by himself today!”) or anything out of the ordinary (“Notice a slight cough, kept an eye on it – he was fine and playful all day.”). The aim is to give you both the practical details and some personal highlights. That way, you’re not only reassured that their basic needs were met (they ate, they slept, etc.), but you also get to share in the little developmental and social moments that happened. We know how special it is to see a picture of your child smiling with paint on their hands or to read that they said “please” unprompted during snack. Those updates are as much for your heart as for your information! Rest assured, all these communications are secure and only visible to you (and any family members you authorize on the app). We take privacy seriously while sharing as much as we can about your child’s day.
