What should I expect during a tour?

During your tour, expect a warm welcome and a thorough introduction to Playto. Typically, a tour lasts about 30 to 45 minutes. One of our friendly administrators or lead teachers will guide you through our facility. You’ll see the different classrooms (infant, toddler, preschool), our play and learning areas, and any special spaces like the indoor playroom or art studio if we have them. We’ll talk about our curriculum and daily routines – for example, we’ll show you how a typical day flows for each age group. We’ll also explain how we prioritize safety and cleanliness as you see features like our security door, camera system, and classroom setup.

A big part of our tour is explaining communication: we’ll show you how we use our parent app (Brightwheel) to share updates, and what kind of information you receive about your child’s day. Many families ask about food and naps, so we’ll cover those details too, like where children eat and how nap time works. You’ll likely see some of our teachers and students in action; don’t be surprised if you catch a circle time song or some artwork drying on the walls! We encourage you to ask any questions that come to mind during the visit. Whether you’re curious about staff qualifications, potty training, or how we handle birthdays – we’re happy to discuss it. By the end of the tour, our goal is that you have a clear picture of what life is like at Playto and feel confident about our program. We know choosing a daycare is a big decision, so we want you to leave feeling informed, comfortable, and excited about what you’ve seen.
